GRAND HOTEL SOFIANU Ramnicu Valcea enjoys primacy being the only hotel museum in Romania that has a great collection of works of art, paintings and sculptures (over 1000 works) of the most famous artists in Romania.

They are exhibited in several galleries in the hotel as a cycle of exhibitions where the works of art will be changed monthly, biannually and annually according to the specificity of the gallery. We can mention some of them: Bârsanu Silviu, Beloescu Călin, Cosor Viorel, Covătaru Dan, Dican Gheorghe, Gaghel Maria, Oprişan Letiţia, Popescu Margareta, Popescu Paul, Sălişteanu Ion, Şerban Dumitru, Stancu Daniel, Tălmuş Ştefan, Tomaselli Angela, Voinea Ilarion, Voinea Marcel etc.

The purpose of this museum is to achieve a national reference system before globalization and to make famous the Romanian art.
